Michael is in the red shirtFifth grade band at the school offers wind instruments and percussion so Michael chose the xylophone. He still has his violin and will be resuming practice this month. The boy sharing the xylophone with Michael lived in the town next to us in Virginia last year- small world!
The xylophones keep perfect time but you can hear the other instruments falling apart. I think this is because the music teacher had to be at the piano to the side and not in front conducting.
